Extensive finish options
For Multiwal’s mobile panel walls, you can choose from every conceivable finish available worldwide. For example, consider:
HPL from any manufacturer
This is a finish consisting of a wood fiber or paper core with two top layers.
Veneer
This is a thin layer of wood applied to sheet material (MDF or primed MDF). Because the veneer layer is real wood, it is often indistinguishable from solid wood.
Whiteboard
A whiteboard usually has a plastic top layer or is made of lacquered metal. This allows writing on it with erasable markers.
Magnetic board
The stainless steel magnetic board is the successor to the standard whiteboard.
Bulletin board
This is softboard or cork board where notes, photos, memos, etc., can be attached using thumbtacks or pins.

Acoustic finishes
In addition to standard finishes, plastic finishes, or wood veneer, it is possible to provide the walls with special acoustic finishes. These acoustic panels can be finished with both plastic and wood veneer.

In addition to standard finishes, plastic finishes, or wood veneer, it is possible to provide the walls with special acoustic finishes. These acoustic panels can be finished with both plastic and wood veneer. The acoustic panels are designed to absorb sound. The amount of sound absorption the acoustic panels provide depends on the method of perforation and the amount of wall surface area. Many options are possible; the sound absorption is even custom-cut and is tailored and produced to your wishes in collaboration with an acoustic consultancy.
Here you see a cross-section of the acoustic finish of our mobile wall panels. We see that the panel walls consist of an MDF cover plate with a surface of your choice underneath, which is fully perforated to your specifications. This is followed by the non-woven fabric and the insulation wool. It is also possible to install windows in the acoustic finishes of mobile panel walls, which is done using window constructions within the panel walls.
A great example of acoustic panel walls can be seen in our project for The Factory Manchester. The panel walls we installed here not only serve to separate two halls but also have an important function as absorption fields for the large music hall.
